For one of my classes (yes I am in grad school for anyone who didn’t know), this week’s assignment was to emulate the style of a comic book artist (last week was a character designer). Mike Mignola was one of the choices and I thought his style would offer me a unique challenge. Here’s what I came up with after agonizing over it for far too long. ~JD  ps. This is a character from a book that Dusty and I wrote (a work-in-progress). She existed in mah brain, but not in art before. :)
